GT1 has joined forces with Camilo Pardo, the Chief Designer of the iconic 2005-06 Ford GT, to offer Signature Series liveries for 2024 GT1 builds. To commemorate this collaboration, GT1 will reveal the first Signature Camilo livery, the #98, paying homage to the 1966 Ken Miles GT40 that claimed victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona. The #98 GT1 will be revealed by Camilo and the GT1 team at Motorlux at Pebble Beach on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023.
This Signature Series car will be uniquely designed to carry Camilo’s theme through both the exterior and interior of the GT1. This #98 car will be on display at Pebble Beach, including stops at Motorlux and the Hagerty House.
This car features the same base GT1 package as the rest of the early builds, with a full carbon fiber body featuring GT1’s unique large-format spread tow carbon weave. It will be powered by the same Roush Yates RY45TT as in the #6 GT1 and other customer builds.
All 2024 GT1s will be available with Signature Series liveries as an option, which will be limited to only one example of each chosen livery theme. Camilo will personally lead the design execution on each Signature Series GT1 based on an inspiration provided. Each livery is designed in his studio in Detroit before going to paint. All graphics, color treatments and design queues are hand-painted by craftsman painters. The Signature Series GT1s will be sure to turn heads.
