The GT1 utilizes a full carbon fiber body with an obsessive focus on downforce and aerodynamic efficiency.

CRAFTED

Full Visible Carbon

The GT1 has a full carbon fiber body that encapsulates an OEM Ford GT aluminum chassis. Each body panel went through extensive design, computational fluid dynamics and physical testing before arriving at the final configuration.

TECHNOLOGY

Aerospace Tech.

The carbon fiber fabric and large format weave was pulled from the aerospace sector. The GT1 utilizes a carbon fiber weave that has been used before by Boeing for fuselages. The large format twill provides significant structural and visual advantages.

AERODYNAMICS

CFD Optimized

The GT1's body system was engineered through rounds of CFD testing and optimization to optimize downforce and minimize drag. The final configuration allows for the adjustability of downforce for demanding conditions.

Style and Substance

The GT1 strikes a balance of preserving style with modern aerodynamic principles. Attention to detail was placed on every part of the system, from the front splitter to the rear diffuser for optimal performance in the most demanding of conditions and applications. The freedom of adjustment of the front and rear downforce allow the car to be dialed in for track conditions all throughout the world.
